This is *not* a standard Blender tutorial.

Instead, CG Cookie's Jonathan Lampel reveals his creative process that takes place without clicking a single button:

Jonathan explains: "The usual technical ‘how do I make this’ question gets replaced with the more creative ‘what should I make in the first place?’ I’m going to show you how I put together this summer's render and some tips and tricks I learned along the way, but first I want to cover something important that very few tutorials talk about, which is how to communicate something that matters to you through the language of design."

  1. I have a hearing problem and do not understand videos. Closed captioning for this tutorial has nothing to do with Bllender. Sorry I can't learn anything from you.

    • Hey Anne, so sorry about that - not sure how that even happened! I'm trying to fix the auto-generated subtitles but YouTube isn't cooperating so far...either way, all the Blender videos on our website are always properly captioned, in case you want to check them out just email us at [email protected] and we'll set you up with a free month membership. Thanks again for letting us know about this!
