This is a short animation inspired by the upcoming video game. To imitate a 2d look, the character as well as the fire are animated "on twos", so each pose lasts for two frames. Random displacement also contributes to an illusion of an imperfect hand-drawn pictures. It was rendered in Eevee. For outlines I used Freestyle.

My only remark is that felt a bit too short... I was expecting at least one minute of action, but what is made is nicely done! Congratulations!

The human movement is very natural. Did you rotoscope it?
Thanks! There was no rotoscoping or video reference. I did however act out some parts before animating.
