Introducing Quick Arch

Hello Blender World,

Ever modeled a building and wished for a button that will add a door? Or a button to add stairs or roof? We have got you covered.

Quick Arch is a blender add-on that provides such one button solutions to all architectural needs. Just select the wall face and click the button “Add Door”. Poof, you have a door with clean geometry and properly cut wall faces. And we have got a whole range of such operators :)

  1. This seems to be waaaay behind Archipack Pro, objects are not kept as procedural, I doubt the plan could work with complex real architectural plans, it does not seem to give an option for custom objects.

Good start, but it´s a long way to go until it can reach Archipack Pro levels, which is a serious professional Arch/Viz tool :)

  2. Thanks Juan for the feedback and appreciation

It's true that Quick Arch is in early stage. We don't intend to compete with Archipack, but provide a more intuitive workflow to Architectural modelling.

Most importantly Quick Arch is simple and fast. It is designed to complement the blender workflow, instead of conflicting with it.

As the addon improves, all the updates will be free for customers. Forever.

    • I’m glad you are conscious of this, this means you can take a different route, I see this addon, with more evolution and complexity, as a great tool for quick set dressing. I would advise to provide a way to implement custom assets as soon as possible so it can be used in video games level construction and such things.

      It’s interesting nevertheless :)

  3. Yup.
It would be suitable for quick level construction with clean & low poly geometry.

Custom Asset support (chocofur style library) is coming in next version, November end.

Thanks for your valuable feedback . Keep up the great work at Bone Studio
