Support for APIC Fluid Simulations in Blender 2.92

Mantaflow developer Sebastian Barschkis has announced the first fluid feature to land in Blender 2.92: A new simulation method called APIC!

This simulation method can be selected from the “Simulation Method” menu, which was already in place but only offered FLIP simulations up to this point. The new APIC simulations promise to be more stable and less splashy than their FLIP siblings, all why being more energetic. The video below shows the the FLIP simulation in blue and its APIC alternative in Orange:
