Grease Pencil developer extraordinaire Antonio Vasquez has just added a new feature allowing for the rotation of textures for Dots and Squares.

This option is available both in materials and as a texture modifier, allowing the rotation parameter to be driven and even rigged, expanding the scope and power of this seemingly simple addition. Fellow Grease Pencil developer Daniel Martinez Lara demonstrates such power and usefulness with a Twitter post showcasing the creation of a variety of different brushes from a single image texture thanks to this feature.
Thanks to this "small" new texture rotation option by @antonioya_blend you can create a cool variety of different brushes with the same image texture #greasepencil #GreasePencilTeam #b3d #blender https://t.co/VFgKvQGcWM pic.twitter.com/cFimPkr3mi
