Trace Image Sequences are coming to Grease Pencil

Grease Pencil developer Antonio Vazquez is always cooking something new and impressive, with one of his latest projects being a Trace Image Sequences feature for Grease Pencil.

This feature comes hot off the heels of another feature addition, the “Trace images into Grease Pencil” operator, building on the same Potrace library (which Antonio himself integrated into Blender) to implement it.

The implementation of this library opened up the avenue for more features including this one, offering new pipelines for 2D animators to integrate Grease Pencil into their workflows, and make use of its unique environment and power.
