Paco (Free download!)

David writes:

Paco is a nice police, he love the actions movies, Although he is not a very smart, he is always willing to help.

Paco uses a standard Rigify rig for deformation, plus a couple of nice features to improve the appeal in animation.

Features:

  • IK-FK control for the limbs (IK-FK snap and vise versa)
  • Tweak controls for all the body parts
  • friendly controls for the fingers (I know you hate the scaling controls)
  • face rig based on actions (override compatible)
  • body picker
  • revolver

As well the rig can be handle as is, I recommend use the X-Pose Picker add-on (not included in the download).

  1. How do I get it to work with Blender 2.90.1 and X-pose? I am new to blender though I have some experience with Maya.

    • Hola Olumide Edu!

there have some things that you must set before

open blender go to preferences/ save and load and enable "Auto run Python Script"

You should have the lasted version of X-pose picker installed (follow the instructions of the Xpose picker developer )
      https://blendermarket.com/products/x-pose-picker

Also , you should enable "bone selection set" add on, go to preferences/add-ons/animation and mark the checkbox

then open the Paco file and run and load the picker (follow the instructions of the X-pose picker developer).

      voila !

      note:
as well the X-pose picker is recommended , is not mandatory , the character have his own Rig UI and wit all the options pressing "N" in the viewport you only need enable "Auto run Python Script"

  2. Okay, got it to work thanks! About the character is he really an adult police officer or just someone pretending to be one.
