Blender Workshop [student work]

1

Gaël Labousse writes:

I had the opportunity to carry out an introductory Blender workshop for 7 days last year at the Waide Somme animation school (Amiens fine arts department). I wanted to share with you the great student work. The students had never used Blender before, and I am very impressed with the progress and quality of their work in such a short period of work.

You will find more results here.

CUBE CONTEST

The "Cube Contest" was a challenge offered to students. The constraint of this work was to transfigure the default cube of Blender by using only "modifiers". All other geometric elements were prohibited. When the cube modifiers were disabled, we had to find it in same condition as when opening the software. The compositing, the lighting as well as the shading was free.

DIORAMA

Equipped with a .blend constraining the students to the framing, the scale and the character design, I allowed them to create a diorama representative of their personality.

CADAVRE EXQUIS

We all achieved, being younger, "cadavres exquis". This graphic or writing game which consists in continuing the work of its previous one. Here we have applied it to 3D animation. Starting from a very simplistic predefined scene that I had produced, each team of students completed their space with their graphic and visual universe over time.

I hope it will please you

  1. Great job! I'm sure this student is very talented. I would also like to have such a talent, but I only have a talent for writing. Fortunately, I am using it very well and helping students choose writing services.
