Sculpt mode gets experimental pen tilt support

1

Pablo Dobarro’s at it again (just when I was almost keeping up with his development pace), implementing experimental pen tilt support in the sculpt mode!

Pen tilt support allows for the control of the brush tip angle in relation to the surface, adding a whole dimension of flexibility and detail control to Blender’s sculpting toolkit. The tilt strength property controls how much the pen angle affects the sculpt normal.

Currently, the Draw, Draw Sharp, Flatten, Fill, Scrape, and Clay Strips brushes are supported, with more to come later on.

  1. Hi guys!

Great to see a feature being implemented I hoped for a long time ago. One more Idea to use the pen tilt would be to control a texture's rotation...think of 3D-Callygraphy....

Where can I get a Build to test the new features?

    Thanks, Michael
