How to import a SVG and convert it to Grease Pencil | Blender 2.9

I was asked to produce a video for converting a SVG to Grease Pencil opject. I need to confess that it is not really working in a ordinary way. Probably you have to download a addon for this.

I managed to convert an imported SVG to a Grease Pencil object in the end. Somehow the SVG import is not really supported by Blender but if you want to import just a static object to your Grease Pencil animation then this could be a solution for you.

I will show you my personal solution for this topic and there are probably better solution out there as well (but I didn't found any). I am open to any critique or feedback!
Cheers

25games was founded in 2016 by two friends: Severin & Simon. Our first goal was to publish a action-adventure game called Kordex. Sadly we wasn't able to find enough support to continue development. However, our Youtube channel and the pixel community was growing nicely. So we decided to continue producing videos for gamedev for you! If you have any problems with game production, feel free to contact us and we try to help!
