Hi everyone!
I've posted a new video tutorial on how to (ab)use the shader-to-rgb node to make a watercolor
material with Eevee. Text version and blendfile included.

That is just spectacular! Thank you, Sir.
Thanks Sean!
Beautiful effect explained very nicely.
Thanks!
This looks beautifuy and thanks so much for sharing it.
When I download your file and open it in any of my different blender versions, I keep getting a black in black view and also when rendered... can't see any light frames from area lights, even in wire frame mode...
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? (There is no extra image - not in the blend nor as an extra texture-file in your zip)
I'll give it a try and build up the material my self along your tutorial :-)
Hi Blauerfux,
The paper texture isn't included because of the license, I left the link in the description. Here it is:

As for the lights, click the Show Overlay button in the header (the icon is like two circles intersecting). Then you can see all the elements in the scene. Once you add the image it will all light up though.
Cheers!
Thanks for that. Great work!
Have a nice day :-)
Hello, do you know if this also works in a different programm? Like Cinema 4D, we use that programm in school but i really like that style
