Rotoscoping often gets a bad rap because of how time-consuming it can be.

In this Blender video we break down some tips on how to streamline the process inside Blender, and open up a whole new world of compositing possibilities.

We'll start by creating a basic mask around a part of our footage we want to keep, then refine that mask, and animate it to complete the rotoscoping process. We will then utilize the set alpha node to give us a usable piece of masked footage to comp in wherever we want. The power of video transformation now lies in your hands. Enjoy!
