Matcaps in EEVEE (New method)

The common method that I have seen to get matcaps working in EEVEE (as shown by Curtis Holt) produces distortions when the subject is away from the center of the frame. I messed around in the shader editor and got some favorable results. If there are optimizations or accuracy improvements that could be made to my shader, feel free to share.

  1. Thanks. It worked. The only problem remaining is the shadows. I am unable to control the lights and shadows when matcap is used in eeve using this method
