QUICK TIPS | Using 2D Images To Block Out A 3D Scene In Blender (featuring "fSpy")

4

Christina Myrvold writes:

This week on POLYCOSM we have a great Quick Tip video tutorial for people who want to create 3D scenes in Blender with the help of 2D images. I use the techniques demonstrated in the video in most of my professional work, especially in regards to cover artwork. You can also use this method to turn a 2D concept sketch into a 3D block-out, and if you want to go the extra mile -- use that original drawing as a texture through projection mapping.

Note: I will be creating future videos on projection mapping in Blender, but if you're looking for resources right away, I highly recommend Ian Hubert's Patreon and YouTube Channel. He's a master at projection mapping!

Hope you guys enjoy the video, and happy Blending!
