Free Blender Rig – Stretch

We’re sharing a free Blender rig from our series – Stretch!
Please help us test it out and give us feedback on how to improve it.
The model was done by a great artist Dejan Mijatovic. The base of the rig is Autorig, and it’s powered by X-Pose Picker… but it’s heavily customized by the very talented David Rodriguez…
Check out the instruction videos on how to use it, how to start to animate in Blender, or how to export our character to Unreal Engine.
If this rig serves the community well, we will publish three more characters – Buddy, Princess, and the Dragon.
This is just the beginning of a much bigger crowdsourcing project, so if you like what you see, hop on and join the ride.

Very guys! Ive seen a couple rigs from David Rodrigues, i saw he was alive again this week ;) Been super busy he said. Hope i learn more from this rig.

David is a great artist and person, helped us a lot on a huge project we’re finishing these days. David sees some place for improvement on this rig as well, and we’ll add those after we hear from the community as well. If You have any suggestions or requests, please submit them through the form. I bet you guys are super stocked about that PickerUI we see on twitter. THats a picker which works in the viewport and is movable inside the 3d viewport.
I asked David and he already seen it i believe. Im no animator, but I’ve seen a couple rig UI or pickers. This one looks very handy and useful!

ONe side note, why are you using a site for this. What a hustle if I’m honest! Why not gumroad or something. I can understand you like to have a mailing list or something like that. BUt at least fill that site. Its only lorum ipsum, looks very shady now actually
That is a good note, thanks. It was a hard decision – Gumroad is also easier for us. However, since this is the start of a much bigger project that the community will have a huge benefit from – we had to start it on a website that has much more stuff underneath.
We’re super busy with other work and this was a side project for us, that’s why the simplicity… However, You’re right, we’ll reveal more stuff as soon as possible, and add some info on us and our background.
I will try to record another video today or tomorrow, clarifying things a bit more.
The project was started by aeonproduction.com – check us out, we’re definitely not shady, but a small studio from Bosnia :D
