Quick animation cycle technique : Layered method

p2design writes:

Hi Everyone,

In this video, I 'd like to share with you how I generally animate short cycles such as run cycles or base idle for game characters. This can apply to feature characters, too.

The benefit of the layered method is to get smooth and convincing results in a step-by-step process instead of working on the full character, in a per pose manner. This allows you to achieve a good looking looping animation pretty quickly.

Hope you'll like it!
