Cathal O'Byrne writes:

I started using Blender properly in March of this year and was asked to help some friends with a product they had developed some years ago but with the onset of Covid-19 wanted to get more information out there, as to how the Door Handle Sanitiser Device worked and how it should be installed. I am very much still in the learning process but over the last few months I have developed several animations and continuing to update and improve them. I hope they are sufficiently good enough to present here for your review.

They are placed under two separate headings on the following website. Initial commercial video in on home page

The modelling was created in Blender 2.8 and then compiled using Premiere and After effects. The installation videos were also all created in Blender 2.8 They are to be found on the News page of same website.

About the Author

I am a Interior Design Architect by profession, but have always been fascinated by 3D software. I began with 3D max back in the early 90's, then Accurender for AutoCad, then back to 3D Max Studio, before trying many others. I cam across Blender about 10 years ago, but didn't apply myself long enough to get over the initial learning curve. I took it up again about 6 months ago and use it every day. Thank you to all the people who spend time putting together great videos without them I would still be struggling. Blender is an amazing piece of software and in my opinion by far the best, not just because it is open source but also because the best community of developers and users.
