Welcome to Blender Quick Tips!
In this quick Blender tutorial you will learn how to use the array modifiers to duplicate or instance an object along a curve path.
This is an essential time saving technique which will be a great addition to any 3D artists arsenal.

Thanks Ben I learned something new

How do you prevent the object from distorting?
Brilliant video, thanks, but when I try it, instead of following the perimeter of the bezier circle, my cubes fly to the centre of the curve with one edge touching the centre, and then form an array around the middle, ignoring the circumference of the bezier circle.
Is there another setting somewhere that you didn't mention, that makes it follow the curve perimeter?
Is there a setting I may have inadvertently set that generates this behaviour?
Please help - I have never once in the past year been able to use a circular array, despite many hours of trying.
Hi there,
could be the hierarchy of your modifiers or the axis you have set on the curve or array modifier.
Other things that can effect it are object origin points or location of the object you are arraying.
feel free to send me your project file [email protected] and I will have a look.
