In this video I create a Pokemon from scratch in 3D, based off of a 2D Halloween concept by AshK.
I sculpted this Pokemon in ZBrush and the rest of the modeling was done Blender. Texturing was also done in ZBrush while the final scene was lit, rendered and composited inside of Blender.
Translating any 2D concept into 3D is always tricky, so I wanted to show you how I do it. It's always a challenge, especially with simple stylized and shapes, so I hope this will give you some insights to try it for yourself.
