HDR Light Studio is a renowned editor that is designed to ease 3D scene lighting creation using High Dynamic Range Images. HDR Studio's developer Lightmap has announced that Blender integration is on its way.
HDR Light Studio was already available for the major commercial 3D editors such as 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D and Houdini. The application live-connects to the host application, adding powerful and convenient interactive tools for HDRI-based lighting design and positioning.
Below are a few impressions of the interaction between HDR Light Studio and Blender.
The price for an indie HDR Light Studio license is € 125 annually (about $ 137 with the current currency rate).
The Blender add-on is currently being finalized in a closed beta stage, but you can sign up to be notified of the release, and in the meantime you can check out HDR Light Studio by installing the trial version.

I wonder what sets this apart from LeoMoon LightStudio and HDR ProStudio which are already available for free.
HDR Light Studio offers more functionality, and includes a large HDR light texture library. But if your budget is tight, the alternatives you mentioned are definitely interesting.
i imagine it's the extremely polished workflow, fast editing, and tons of assets. I've tried both of the free solutions you mentioned and they are both prone to crashing, extremely laggy, and have a really odd workflow.. but for people who aren't looking for a commercial solution it's good that they're available, personally I'll be buying HDR Light Studio whenever the blender plugin is finished.
