Hello,
I wanted to share with you a passion project of mine, Edge Loop Magazine. Ever since the Blender Art magazine stopped in 2015, I’ve felt like that was something missing that I wanted to see again. So I decided to start making one myself.
The goal of this magazine is to focus on professionals that are using Blender in some way in their pipeline. This first issue features some fantastic art showcases, interviews with Zacharias Reinhardt(CG Boost), Joseph Burgen(Epic Games), exclusive discounts for Layer Painter, & Blender courses and a lot more.
The publication will always be free, and available on Gumroad. The first issue is now available. I hope you enjoy this first issue and I look forward to creating many more.

Downloaded it and gonna check tomorrow. Lots of work making a magazine. Im a graphic designer, so i know how much work making a magazine is. Did you do all articles, layout work, corrections your self?
Thanks for downloading the magazine. I put the magazine together myself. Some of the articles were provided to me in a Google doc format and then I put that together in Affinity Publisher.
Exactly what I was looking for, a Blender magazine! I’ve read a couple of interviews and they are quite interesting. There seems to be a good mix of topics and not much of advertises. I hope to see one day an interview or tutorial about how Blender is used for simulations. There are plenty of basic tutorials but I have the feeling it stops there (could be wrong of course), on the other hand it’s not an easy topic… Already looking forward to the next issue ;-).

Hi. I’m a bit confused. You write that the magazine is free, but on the link to the magazine, the “fair price” field appears not to accept a $0 amount. Plz explain. Thx.

It should accept a $0 amount. I’ve had several hundred downloads with $0 dollars.
Thanks so much for doing this. I’ve only known of an Italian Blender magazine but have always wanted one I could read.
I hope you get lots of contributions and find lots of things to talk about because I’ll enjoy reading it.
