Pietro Chiovaro writes:

Hi, everyone!

Today I'm glad to show you my modelling process for the creation of 3D Characters in Blender in a simple way. This one is Ellie from The Last Of Us Part II, the post-apocalyptic game by Naughty Dog. It was challenging and exhilarating, what do you think?

You can find some behind the scenes and upcoming projects on my Instagram.

  1. I hate people like you, you advertise that you’re going to easily model a character in blender, but then you start with a pre-modeled head, you’re not modeling the character if you steal the head, your just modeling a make-shift body for you’re Frankenstein head, Jesus, if you’re going to post shit like this at least say Body modeling rather than just character modeling, it’s dishonest, and annoying as all fuck

  3. Liz didn’t take her meds today, I for one found this very helpful. You can get help with 3D humanoids anywhere, it’s clothing that is the challenge.

  4. I agree with Liz's sentiment, if not her choice her words. Over a minute of adverts to start it... this video is sponsored by... paid promotion... Then he's modelling a shirt, when bam! There's a completely finished head from nowhere. Awful cheesy music, which also plays behind the narrator, making the voice hard to listen to and understand. Why do people spend so much time over- producing their videos to make them worse? Yuk.

While the character creation process is quite amateur in this video, I think Liz is wrong. If she goes back a bit on his channel she will see the video of him making the head. There are some bad practices in this video with regards to almost everything from UV mapping to clothing texturing, but its an honest effort as far as I can tell.

For me it's all about learning all the shortcuts in blender and there uses and all the nodes but then again I've been using blender and 3D modeling for just a month now Great video.

  7. I know this might sound dumb but I''m a 12 yr old and would like to make my own short film so if anyone out there would love to help I'm Layla
