Good news!

Spring Sale on Blender Market has started, and New Media Supply is joining with all the addons and assets. The video is a showcase of all the products, but before you watch the video the list below might come in handy:

EV Express
This is the pearl of New Media Supply's products. With EV Express you can setup a scene in EEVEE quickly to showcase your model. The addon is stable, has good reviews, and I use it myself for each and every render. Yes, I like EEVEE, because it saves so much time. Except for the renders settings, light settings, probes, etc, but that is what the EV Express is for: to speed up setting up a scene.

Assets for Level Builder
I spend also quit some time making assets for Level Builder. I find Level Builder the best addon for building up a scene with modular assets. Because it works with linked objects or instances, you can build big scenes and still have loads of RAM left.

MOAS GEN addon
And later, When making a lot of assets for Level Builder started to get a boring job because I used the same steps and procedures.. I though why not making an addon to speed up generating modular assets? And there was the MOAS-GEN addon. It's quite a new addon, but it works well and has some unique modelling tools as well. MOAS-GEN is not shown in the video, but in New Media Supply's shop, there is a full description. You can build modular assets with the MOAS-GEN addon.

Organics Asset Pack
Organic model can be mesmerizing, and sometime you cannot come to these kind of models by sculpting. A lot of different techniques are used to come to these models: Particles, Softbody, cloth, metaballs, radial arrays, Fibonacci, forcefields, etc. It has some nice models and a tutorial at the moment, but there are still plans to develop it further. The plan is to make it an addon that set up a scene with particles, softbodies, etc.

EEVEE Shaders
After Blender 2.8 bumpmaps started to bother me because they look pixelated and processing is quite slow. So I wanted to use normal maps, but the problem was that you can't turn procedural textures in normal maps. A solution was: semi-procedural materials. That is, using tile-able normal maps en use a few tricks to prevent visible tiling. For example, you can load two normal maps and for for the albedo a mulitplied noise texture. EEVEE shaders comes with a set of normal maps and masks. Another thing that bothered me about materials and textures I found on the internet was that nearly none of them were using plausible albedo vallues. And still I see node setups using contrast and brightness which are broken formula, or not suitable to adjust textures in Blender. And also some textures come with pure white and pure black pixels, etc. These EEVEE Shaders use plausible albedo values and show a consistency. There is still a plan to make an addon for it, but it's a long term plan.

Inserts for KIT OPS
Consist of simple cutters, set of knobs and buttons and sliders, and an industrial cyber set.

Plugs for MeshMachine
Yes magic is MeshMachine's plug system! Somehow I don't use it a lot myself at the moment, but definitely going to play with it more again. Contains also some knobs, sliders and buttons. Oh yes, an some symbols from Egypt. Didn't include it in this video, but again, there is a description in the shop

Material Nodes Addon
Here I am working on a system to build Materials in a modular way. It has already some cool nodes, but I am still brainstorming on how to get a modular set as intuitive as possible and modular. Some cool nodes: Varshad: turns a sterile looking shader into something more natural. Fabric, Filterpaper, Glass, Plastic foil, Led, vertex_col, TileMaker, Level Correction (instead of using brightness and contrast but use that).

Here is my shop to find a details description of each product.

Robert (Aka Peetie, Founder New Media Supply and blender-addons.org).
