In this video, I wanted to share with you the Update for the Text Tool add-on (version 1.03). If you want to download the update, you can find the link in our blog post here.
In this Update, we have two new additions, The Radial Curve Tool and the Radial Border Tool.
The Radial Curve, just enter some text and the Curve Tool will do the work. It will add the Text you defined, along with a Bezier Curve. You can enter edit mode and play around with the shape to get some interesting variations.
The Radial Border, you can select from a few preset styles and add interesting Radial Borders. You can also enter your own letter or character using the custom Character Option.
I know these tools are not perfect but I think it's a nice and easy way to add curved text or Radial Borders. I already have some Ideas I want to implement to make the process much smoother but if you have any suggestions on what you would like to see in the Text Tool Add-on be sure to let us know in the Comments or in our Facebook Group.
