Eevee Scif fi Animation and Breakdown

Tosmo writes:

Here is a short animation I made recently in Blender. All shots were rendered in Eevee with no post effects. The terrain was created in World Machine, and the craft was a fairly simple model I made using the Hard ops and Boxcutter addons developed by Jerry Perkins (masterxeon1001).

It looks pretty cool. There's just one thing: in the 'flyalong' where the camera moves with your ship, you use a lot of depth of field, which to me makes it look more like a small scale model/miniature, instead of a full size ship.
In a real world environment you'd never get a DOF like this. Compare this to shots from the new Top Gun trailer to see what I mean. Apart from...pretty cool.

    • Hey, Thanks for the Feedback.

It is true that I didn't put a lot of time into setting up the scale correctly, and I also widen the "aperture" to an unrealistic amount. The new Top Gun trailer is a great point of reference for creating realistic ariel shots.
