Ok, so I posted my script here…. it’s REALLY simple with no GUI, but I prefer editing the file to tweak stuff anyway.

Same as comments above. When selecting a valid source, the UI won’t change to populate the bone mappings

Woww it’s perfect for my needs!!! Thanks so much for sharing <3 I just retargeted an animation very easily within 3 minutes! i still have to adjust some stuff but it works great :)
it did mess up i think my bone roll of my hips… messed up all other animations, but it did retarget, but i’m not such an expert in rigging so maybe there was something wrong with my rig even though i followed quite a professional guide about blender-rigging ;)
every time i click on bake into action blender stops responding and i have given enough time for it to load as i dont have the best pc
what am i doing wrong blender goes into not responding and crashes

This looks really useful, but I’m having trouble getting it to work, I’ve set up bone mappings and everything but it won’t let me set up the rest alignment, I can click the set up button but no apply button appears after I’ve edited my target rig. Am I missing a step?
Yeah I wanted to fix that, but haven’t had time to do it. The addon doesn’t detect the setup if the rest pose has not changed at all. You need to change atleast one bone’s rotation a tiny bit.
