I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the
Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at
n8n.
I am migrating from YEARS of working in SketchUp – and am trying to get into Blender…. starting all over again with everything now new to me.
I’ve looked at several “beginner” tutorials – but cannot seem to get the hang of simple navigation. I’m on a Mac, with a ‘Magic Mouse 2’ that seems to do everything opposite of what I want. I slide right & my object rotates left.
Is there a way to reverse this?
Hey Andrew, welcome to the Blender community! You might get more response by posting your question on the Blender Artists forum. I think the ‘Basics & Interface’ category will be the best place: https://blenderartists.org/c/support/basics-interface/21
