How about a stylized pentagonal prism turning it into a parallelepiped (cuboid like)?
You might insert it in a low-poly industrial-style (minimalistic, hyper-Bauhaus) scandinavian room , as a bed.
Of course, with a procedural native texture, if you like complexity.
Btw: have you ever wondered what happened with Blender 3D software in more than twenty years and what is Blender 2.81 good for?

I personally love Blender but I do know it has some short-comings when compared to things like Maya. However, with all the improvements and the future opportunities I think it is worth investing my time and money (yes, I support Blender financially when possible!) to fully learn Blender and teach what I have learned.
