Learn how to create correctly spelled headlines using Grammarly! Sorry, I had to call you out, since you're a journalist and all.

Or maybe just a person who thinks people should do their job. If you are a chef you also need to know how to cook meat and not just how to serve it.
Thanks.
First map worked OK but now SRTM host keeps forcibly shutting the data download so no height data. I'll keep trying but wonder is access rationed?
I'm seeing a similar problem:
"TimeoutError: [WinError 10060] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"
Does anyone know where to find the host's URL?
A-aaand today it works fine again. :) Maybe just a busy period when I tried yesterday.
Same here. I need to increase my patience factor.
another great tutorial thanks so much... one question please if I may, my camera function disappears once I begin with this add-on.... I can therefore not render an image as I cannot move the camera to the correct position and the render is just a grey rectangle... any assistance will be greatly appreciated
I had the same problem: Just a gray rectangle shown in camera view and the camera seemed to disappear in the viewport. The problem was the "clipping" distance of the camera ended at 100m by default. I guess that's too close to see the map. Go to camera panel and look for clipping start / end and increase the "end" value.
Hi there, first thanks a lot for your tutorial on youtube!
Is there a way to change the form of the rectangle on which the terrain is shown? Would be awesome to do it with circles or squares.
