Daily Blender Tip: Procedural Noise textures

Bump maps can add a lot of interesting surface detail to your object.

But a Bump or Normal map is not always included, for example when using a photograph you took yourself as a texture. In that case you can try adding the bump by using a procedural noise texture. There are several such textures available in Blender, and you can even mix them for additional results.
