Are you sure alt click does that? I does not do anything for me.
It does work, I use it everyday. But there was someone that left a comment saying that it wont work when you have either emulate numpad or Emulate 3 button Mouse checked in the preferences panel. Those settings are under the Input tab.
I cant for the life of me find that comment now to confirm it, but have a play with those settings to see if it helps.

You were right, it is the Emulate 3 Button mouse making this trick a dead end.
Thanks for confirming that, I have never used Emulate 3 Button mouse so was not aware. I will add that to the decription on the video.

Nevertheless don’t you have some difficulties to do the good movement ?
Very often the mouse move from 1 px to left or right and the gesture is broken. Must right click to cancel and try again …
Never had an issue like that before. Only think I can think of is the mouse surface you are on. Are you using a mouse pad?

Yes i use an old mouse pad. You right, maybe the mouse pad is responsable.
