I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. This to me is a BS video. It doesn't save that much time with right-select. The right click user click on all kinds of shortcuts.

  2. Lol how's this BS? The video made sensible, valid arguments for right-click to select, and concluded that it's still your choice in the end. There's really no need to shit on the many artists who DO prefer right-click.

  3. This is really a nice explanatory video for the right click select. Personally I think he is even missing one point for right click select. For those people who work with multiple windows of Blender, you often have to click into the window to get proper focus there for using shortcuts.

Loosing your selection during that process would be bad. I like to use multiple windows to have certain perspectives open all the time because its easier to select some vertices there. Very nice, that there is an option to change it to your favored behavior.
