Blender 2.82

  • Currently Tracker Curfew is in effect: focused effort on bringing open bugs count down
  • Stabilizing branch to be created on 9th of January

Blender 2.83

  • On 9th of January stabilizing branch for 2.82, at which point master will be effectively open for 2.83 work

Changes / New Features

  • Transform: Use parent bone orientation if the bone has not size ( mano-wii )
  • UI: Add icons for Sculpt mode Topology & Multiplane Scrape tools ( William Reynish )
  • Cycles: Support UDIMs with OSL shading ( Lukas Stockner )
  • Shrinkwrap: improve triangle boundary stability in Target Normal Project. ( Alexander Gavrilov )
  • Action Constraint: introduce a mix mode setting. ( Alexander Gavrilov )
  • Object: ‘Affect Only Origins’ support for Snapping ( Campbell Barton )
