I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Um, just curious - it's not occurred to me till now...
I'm bleeding edge every day now, getting latest of 2.82 every day, so, I take it that I already have all those bugs fixed?!

  2. Seriously though, why release a new version with bugs? I mean you just released 2.8 with bugs and month later it's 2.81 then 2.8a. I'm in love with the new version and the software, but am I supposed to get a new version every week or day?

    • Seriously though, are you complaining that the amazingly fast and diligent creators of this massively complicated software are releasing bug fixes just as fast as they can? You might like to stay quiet, or those devs might get jobs with Adobe, where they can sleep with their feet on the desk for years at a time, fix no bugs, never produce any worthwhile new features, and still suck $'000 from your bank account.
