Creating Scratches in Blender 2.81

This little tutorial came up as a request from some of the students on my Udemy course, but I add it on my YouTube channel as well, so you all can view it for free :).

How to make scratches in 2.81 using the old 2.7x method by taking the difference of Voronoi has changed a little. This because the Voronoi texture now is different.

So, I describe how you do it in 2.81 and also add a few "extra" things in there to make those scratches even nicer :). All for you that wants to play around with the Blender nodes!

About the Author

My real name is Joakim Tornhill, but most people know me as "Blender Insight"... the procedural node & material guy :). I love how Blender can turn a simple sphere in to a photo realistic cherry, orange, planet or football....without using any external sources like images at all. That is amazing! However, I can do other Blender stuff as well (been at it since 2012) and share my knowledge as much as I can on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/c/jtornhill
