Hey there Blender community,
in the context of Nodevember I created a fully procedural weave pattern nodegroup that can easily be used to create realistic textile shaders. It is compatible with Blender 2.81.
More renderings can be found on Artstation. The file including 5 example shaders can be downloaded for free on Gumroad.

Somehow, 'Gumroad' does not know these are being offered for free. Clicking on the "I want this" button produces no results-
You have to put "0" in the box for how much you're paying.
Appreciated.
Thank you for putting these out here.
I'm retired & only beginning to learn Blender. I really can't afford anything extra, but these two Procedurals seemed too good to pass up - and I appreciate your generosity.
Hopefully, as I get to know how to use everything, I will be able to come back and actually buy more.
Andrew-
Don't worry about it!
I'm glad when people can make use of my work. I understand that not everyone can afford a bunch of assets, especially as a hobbyist. That's why I'm offering them for free :)
Yet again Simon, you've provided another set of kick arse shaders. I've rendered the 5 samples out and tweaked a few settings. There are a lot of possibilities in there.
Thanks again.
This seems like a really handy node, thanks for sharing it for free! <3
Do these work in 2.80? I somehow only get complete black objects and can't change the color. I tried with your sample file and a new one with imported materials. I am pretty experienced in Blender but i am not sure where i went wrong here.
I should learn to read. You clearly state in gumroad that this shader won't work in previous versions. So nevermind. My only problem is, there seems to be no 2.81 beta for Mac atm. What a cruel world...
That's a shame, but 2.81 is scheduled to be released officially tomorrow, so it shouldn't be a big hold-up
I can name a price, its grey out
