Yes, because in tutorials I prefer to use simple models to not distract viewers.
Well, in this case it’s quite useless in real life project case. Making bevels with svg it’s quite difficult, of course it’s much simple to work with simplified mesh, but you can’t send this to the client… Will be nice to see some tutorials about real meshes from svg and bevels.
