3D Artist Alexander Goryushin shows us the process of creating his low poly, cartoony Box Tank model using Blender and Marmoset.

Hello. I am Alexander Goryushin, and I live in the Tambov region, Russia. My life and work are completely unrelated to art or computer graphics, but I always wanted to realize myself in a creative way. 3D modeling is perfect for this purpose. I first opened Blender in 2017. Since then, every evening I spend one hour or more creating 3D art.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.
