Over 500 participants will join the Blender Conference this year and our previous venue 'De Balie', could no longer host us. So this year the event moves to a new venue which is a LOT bigger and offers some really cool features such as a huge HD LED wall for presentations!
The team is now busy setting everything up for tomorrow, and Andy just shared this video on Twitter of how the place looks.
See you there tomorrow?

Hi,
Are any of the sessions going to be streamed?
Not sure about streaming, but Ton did confirm all the sessions will become available online asap.
I just found this:
The Theater presentations will be live streamed. The presentations at the Theater, Salon and Spotlight will be recorder and available online within an hour at our YouTube channel. Please make sure your presentation does not contain registered/copyrighted audio, as it will cause the video of your presentation to the blocked on YouTube. If in doubt, contact us.

That's great! Thanks!
Last year were streams for both the theater & Salon, so i am sure will be the same for this year.
OMG, I seriously thought it would be in De Balie again. I came across this Blender Nation article while reading my feeds the night before the morning of the first BCon day! Phew, thanks! Almost walked to the wrong location, and would then have missed Ton's keynote! :D
You ARE aware the event is in Amsterdam, New York, USA, right? https://bit.ly/2pImQD1 :troll:
Hahahah! :D I'm such a scatterbrain!
"our previous venue 'De Balie', could no longer host us"
Is that the reason? I thought you'd given up on them. Then I'm glad they couldn't - that place was too damn cramped! Especially now that Blender has grown so much in importance.
No, I meant 'we no longer fit in it'
Oh, I see.
