Several people reported this video by Gearbox where you can spot they're using Blender in the production of Homeworld 3!

Hi, as the title suggests, I was watching the Homeworld 3 Fig Announce video and, as usual, became curious as to what programs the devs were using. I paused the video to see, and, lo and behold! There is the lovely little Blender icon sitting on this artist's desktop! Sadly, his main screen is actually running, I think, Maya, but he's definitely got Blender there for when he wants to actually have some fun!
The best shot is at 4:55, but you can also spot a quick glimpse of the Blender icon in a dock at 4:17.

And he prefers Inkscape over Illustrator.
Rightly so. Many people, including me, often experience an error in Illustrator when simply trying to open a file - the UI locks solid. It was first reported in March, but still isn't fixed. The billion dollar sloth just can't be bothered. Thankfully my employers feed Adobe The Hut, not me.
!!!WoooW!!!
An amazing software for a great project at service of talented artists: what could I ask more for dreaming tonight?
There's a lot of hard surface modeling there. I'd be willing to bet Blender gets used for it.
