Blend - project - BOOM, new sneakers! This is pretty cool.drewpotter writes:

  1. Blender , again, proved itself but it's amazing how fast people are becoming chimps... Once there were shoes that flashed and made noise while walking and now this thing.

    • Missing the forest for the trees.

      All they did was take an existing shoe and change the aesthetics of it on the fly. Having programmable paint is a good thing, because it means you could get away with far fewer barely used consumer products junking up your home.

      • Maybe such shoes are not gonna be disposed fast as you won't have the chance to get bored.But the industry is not gonna like it as they need to make shoes more often than once in twenty yrs.
