Here are videos 5-7 of Andrew Price's Donut tutorial for Blender 2.8 (see parts 1-4 here). This concludes 'level 1' of this series - after this there will be three more levels that cover topics like particle systems, volumetrics, compositing and more.
I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
