Blender's Argentinian meeting will take place in La Plata on October 3, 4 and 5. It is free and will include talks, projections and workshops on animation, sculpture, modeling and 3D printing, among other activities.
The main place will be the Fine Arts Faculty of the National University of La Plata, but there will be activities in the city's Planetarium.
"Talks with Eugenio Pignataro, Matías mendiola, Joni Mercado, Domenico Cirasino Sebastián Cavazzolli, a teleconference with Pablo Vázquez from Amsterdam, are some of the things we expect for October" commented one of the organizers belonging to SLAD (Open Source laboratory of the Faculty of Fine Arts).
He continued "The main objective is to bring together new users, intermediate users and experts so that everyone can move forward and share experiences with the use of the software. At the end of the days of talks and workshops there will be recreational activities of music and projections to be able to be in a relaxed and amusing environment. That is to say, to have a few quiet days of meeting without losing sight of the professional projection of Blender".
The SLAD is an academic unit with more than two years that aims to disseminate Open Source software in the artistic field.
The organizer of the meeting concluded "We hope that all users of blender who are near La Plata and those who are curious about the software can come to share these 3 days with us".
