Isn't that cumbersome? So many repetitive steps to get a simple bendybone setup. And when you made one for the left brow of your character, you can't just copy and mirror it for the right one, at least it didn't work when i tried it the last time. I also asked the maintainer of metarig if we couldn't get a pre-set facerig made of bendybones, but he said it wouldn't be that trivial. Long story short: Bendy bone could be awesome, but right now it's more of a pain.
There are scripts that set the whole thing up , click a button and move/rotate to the best area. But, for me, animating the bendy-bone facial rig ended up being very time consuming. It was difficult keeping the face on-model.
