In this video tutorial I show how to bake PBR textures from your Blender material. Then I create a new project and texture my model with these exported textures.

  1. I always get "No active image found in material "ObjectNameMaterial" (1) for object"Objectname".
I do have the unconnected image texture selected in the Shader Editor. It does not matter if I'm baking a Normal or a Diffuse etc. Same error. This used to work before Blender 2.8.x, but no longer. IF there's a solution for the current version of Blender I would love to learn it, because this was very handy.

    • I think I just figured out the problem. This error ( "no active image found" ) occurs only when there are multiple textures on the object. In this case, you have to put an unconnected image texture and have it selected on EVERY material connected to that object and then the error goes away.
If you don't the process still runs, it just arbitrarily pics a texture to overwrite and destroys your other work.
So drop an image texture into the shader editor on EVERY material on the object. Inconvenient, but at least it works.
