On the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the death of the martyrs of Kosice (Slovakia) I was hired to reconstruct the face of the three saints: St. István Pongrácz, St. Melchior Grodziecki and St. Marko Krizin, by

The work was coordinated by the archaeologist Jiri Sindelar.

The presentation of the faces had wide repercussion in the Catholic media being published in the Vatican News, Rome Report, Ceska Televize and other means, covering six languages.

I had the great honor to receive an acknowledgment issued by the Archbishop of Kosice, Mons. Bernard Bober.

The reconstructions do not stop here, we will have more revelations in the coming months!

  1. I'm curious: Have you ever validated your modeling technique? E.G. take the same kind of information that you would have for a historical figure, but apply to an unknown person with photographs to compare the end result?

I can certainly envision Blender assisting in plastic and reconstructive surgery in new and inventive ways.

  2. Hi there!
Many thanks and greetings from Kosice! I live there. My son attends school with the name of the martyrs.
And I teach Blender (in another high school). Nice right? :D
