From July, 26th to 28th 2019 (Friday to Sunday) the Blender 3D Summer School and the BlenderDay opens its doors in Mannheim, Germany. Hosted by the University of Applied Sciences, 12 workshops and talks are scheduled, covering the topics: modeling, shading, rendering, VFX and animation. We especially celebrate the release of Blender 2.8 with two workshops dedicated to the Eevee render engine and the brand new grease pencil.
The workshops offer 3 hours of in-depth training and are provided in two skill levels for Beginners and advanced Blender users. In the Saturday afternoon and on the whole Sunday we celebrate the 11. BlenderDay, where we see reports, break-downs, howtos about Blender projects that are currently in the making. The venue closes with an epic modeling contest. May the best modeler win the unique Blender modeling medal!
