  1. Any way to render / output these like as in MeasureIt?

Like tools such as Vectorworks and Sketchup (yes, i hate them too) make it easy to output sizing and measurements as vectors / ascii so can be easy edited in Inkscape / Illustrator.

Yes, i know we can output SVG from Freestyle but it's so hard when you need to make simple dimensioned elevations / floorplans / furniture design.

Yes, i have heard that is houldn't complain when Blender offers so much more and is not meant like minicad tool but now Blender is ousted in (thrown out) our International studio's workflow and we move to (terrible) sketchup>Vray (blergh) workflow. This is not an animation but design studio but Blender can surely add a lot of value in this business.

Since working with Blender 2.34 (2004) this has been missing, despite of efforts as Protractor tool (Dolf Veenvliet).

I think I figured a way to do that. It is complicated to set up . Set the Cursor to the origin, add a vertex, Snap new vertex to 3D Cursor. Select another vertex and press F to make an edge to the origin from the Surface Vertex. Then it works for all the vertices. You do need to create that one edge first though.

  2. Would love to see the ability to copy/paste the numeric value! Can someone tell me how? (IF this ability is missing, then what's the point? Do I *really* have to take a screenshot, then re-type the number when I need to use it? This renders this completely useless! For shame!)
