I have created Grease Pencil nodes for animation nodes for blender 2.8. These nodes allow to get grease pencil info/data into the animation nodes But also allow to convert the animation nodes data into grease pencil strokes. Therefore, now you can convert grease pencil strokes to curves or meshes. You can make grease pencil PARTICLES, holograms, and custom brushes with live animation, etc. All links are available in the video description.
