Blender used for worldwide Marni fashion campaign

Metin Seven writes:

The Italian fashion company Marni approached me to create a number of voxel-style videos introducing a new line of products featuring pixel-like patterns.

The videos had to be very short — about 10 seconds each — and a minimalistic look was desired. I proposed to pay a tribute to classic 8-bit games, such as Pong and Pac-Man.

The Dutch agency that represents me — Comic House — took care of the audio and project management.

I used Eevee in the Blender 2.8 beta to win the race against the animation deadlines. Eevee rendered like a Formula 1 racing car, and gave me the opportunity to render animation tests in full resolution, and re-render whenever necessary.

The campaign has already been covered by Vogue and is currently prominent on the Marni homepage.

Below you can view some of the videos, and more videos can be found on my YouTube channel.

Finally, you're invited to metinseven.nl for an impression of my other work, often created using Blender.
